Q.1. Who can avail the library services?
Ans. Student, Faculty, Faculty Associates, Research Scholars, Officer, and Staff.

Q.2. How can I become a member of the library? 
Ans. For enrolment as a member of the library, you need to fill up the membership form which is available at Circulation Desk. The membership form duly filled-in with appropriate identification should be submitted to Membership & Circulation Desk.  

​Q.3. What is the timing of books issue/return in the library?

Library timing for Faculty/Staff:    Monday-Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Library timing for Students: 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Q.4. How many books and for how long I can borrow?

 

Q.5. How can I recommend a book purchase?
Ans. Faculty can recommend books for purchase by filling-  ‘BOOK   REQUISITION FORM’ that can be obtained from the Circulation Desk or Library Website and email to librarygpk@gmail.com.

Q.6. What are Digital Resources available to users?
Ans. For detailed information on e-resources, follow the below link: https://www.imt.edu/library/online-resources

Q.7. Where should I mail my reference query?
Ans. You can send any of your queries to reference & information to librarygpk@gmail.com.

Q.8. How to request the Book/s which are not available in the library?
Ans. You may send an e-mail at librarygpk@gmail.com citing the details of the book/s.

Q.9. How to search new arrival books?
Ans. You can find newly added books on library home page at New Arrival.

Q.10. Where can I return a book/s?
Ans. You can return the book/s at Circulation Desk only.

 

Q.11. How can I renew book/s?
Ans. You can renew book/s through the visit library circulation counter.

Q.12. What are the overdue charges against late return of book(s)?

Ans. Over dues shall be charged from the students if they fail to return the book(s) on or before the deadline as indicated on the Due-Date-Slip in the book:
Rs. 5.00 per book per day shall be charged.

Q13. What if I lose or damage something I borrowed?
Ans. You should immediately consult the library staff to know the book detail and then consult the Acquisition Section for the replacement or payment of book.

Q.14. What I do on Loss of Library Card?
Ans. Members shall be responsible for the loss and misuse of Library Card. A member who loses his/her Library Card shall make a written report to the Principal. A duplicate card will be issued at the cost of Rs. 15/-.

Q.15. Can I bring the personal book in the library?
Ans. You can carry own books to the library by making necessary entries in daily log register.

Q.16. Can I donate books or other materials to the library?
Ans. You are welcome to donate the book to the Library. Donated books will be catalogued under the gratis category.

Q.17. Where can I make a suggestion to the library?
Ans. You can email the suggestions @ librarygpk@gmail.com.
