Do’s

1. Be a registered library user/member.

2. Put your sign in the register kept at the check point while entering in the library.

3. Present library card on entry and borrowing books for home use.

4. Present/submit Institute student ID card as well as library card when borrowing Text Books and Reference Books for reading inside the library.

5. Show documents which are being taken out of the library, to staff at the check point.

6. Pay all the library dues.

7. Respect library rules and regulations.

8. Always come to the library to identify your needs and know what do want.

9. Always ask to library staff for any queries.

10. Keep the book at its right place.

11. Use all the library sections.

12. Use all the library resources properly.

13. Turn your mobile on silent mode while reading books/newspapers/magazines inside the library.

14. Whisper while talking always.

15. Tiptoe while walking always.

16. Keep the library premises tidy.

 

Don’ts

1. Don’t carry bags inside the library.

2. Don’t move books, newspapers, Magazines and chairs from its specific area to another area.

3. Don’t make noise in the library or its surroundings.

4. Don’t use cell phone inside the library.

5. Don’t listen music while in the library.

6. Don’t sleep inside the library.

7. Don’t bring food inside the library.

8. Don’t talk loudly or walk noisily inside the library.
